Year in Review | Event And Travel Photography

2015 has been a busy and fulfilling year from an event photography perspective.  In addition to the usual events that I cover every year, I also shot some Blue Jays games, the Honda Indy, the Rogers cup and an anime event.  There were a few events that I wish I had the time to cover.  Hopefully I will have the chance next year. Besides photographing events in Toronto, I was out of Toronto frequently for work or other engagements.  Whenever I have time, I would go out and do some landscape or street photography.  I am starting to enjoy doing long exposure night shots.  It is both challenging and rewarding.  It requires a lot of patience.  Most the time is spent on location scouting and waiting for the best light.  Compare this to event photography, which is often fast paced and leave you with little time to think.

I started using instagram earlier this year.  My user name is @pwdotcom.  Feel free to follow me there for more up-to-date and other interesting photos.
