The 50th anniversary of the International Society for Performance Improvement conference was held in Toronto. ISPI is a society dedicated to the research and practice of improving workplace productivity. I provided conference photography service for this event over multiple days. Over one thousand participants attended, making it one of the largest corporate event I have ever photograph. Most of the people I spoke to came from different parts of the world, making it a very diverse gathering. Over the course of the conference, members share their working experience, learn new techniques and network with others. One of the key to successfully covering such a large event is to wear comfortable shoes. When all members are gathered in the big board room, it takes about three minutes to walk from one end to the other. During the day, there are smaller group sessions held at various locations of the conference venue. It takes a bit of treasure hurting skill to find and reach all the different rooms in a timely manner. Overall it was a well-organized business event. I am glad I was able to contribute professional conference photos for their marketing materials and social media platform.
